EDC Erhverv Poul Erik Bech becomes new company member of RICS

As only the fourth Danish commercial real estate agent EDC Erhverv Poul Erik Bech has now been admitted as a company member of RICS. The membership is a recognition of the fact that customers receive professional advice that meets the highest international standards.
EDC Business Poul Erik Bech has just been admitted as a company member of the organisation RICS (the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors). This move is a recognition of the fact that the company meets the highest professional standards in the industry - the so-called Rules of Conduct. Only four Danish commercial real estate companies are members of RICS, and at European level, there are 120 RICS company members.

"I see our RICS certification as a confirmation that we comply with the toughest international requirements for excellence and integrity in the advice we give. This means that Danish and international customers can safely come to us because they know that we live up to the highest ethical and professional requirements for a modern, internationally oriented real estate company"says owner Poul Erik Bech.

In 2010, EDC Erhverv Poul Erik Bech signed a cooperation agreement with ONCOR International, a network of commercial property advisors and one of the leading players in the international property markets. This means that we are part of a network whose members in 2009 alone globally conducted 11,800 transactions in sales, letting and valuation of commercial and investment properties. The membership of RICS is a natural continuation of the Danish real estate company’s ambition to offer customers the absolute best advice, also across national borders.

RICS is an international organisation with approximately 89,000 individual members in 146 countries. RICS purpose is to ensure the highest possible professional level associated with very strong requirements for ethics and morals in the performance of the members' work. In addition, the organisation is also special in light of the interdisciplinarity the members contribute, which provides the orderers with a guarantee of professional exchanges - even across national borders. RICS is also an international network that provides both foreign and Danish companies with a working forum where common norms and standards are assured.

RICS Denmark was founded in 1995 and today it has more than 50 individual members, or so-called Chartered Surveyors, including the company owner Poul Erik Bech and commercial director Jørgen Jørgensen, who both have been involved since the beginning 16 years ago.
