The development comprises 107 homes, comprising single- and two-storey terraced houses as well as flats. The project is being developed by Thylander, and the first phase is expected to be ready for occupancy on 1 July.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas Hedegaard Gull\u00f8v, Director of Investments and Development at Thylander, says: \u201cThe vision for S\u00f8agerhusene has been to raise the bar for new-build developments \u2013 both architecturally and in terms of quality. We have focused on solid materials, well-thought-out floor plans and a residential environment that combines modern comfort with the area\u2019s history.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpeaking of history, the school\u2019s former gymnasium is being carefully renovated and given a new lease of life, so that in future it can serve as a meeting place for local residents, offering opportunities for sport and activities. Adjacent to the gymnasium, a new community centre is being built using materials from the old primary school, so that the area\u2019s past is woven into the residential development. The community centre will house a large communal area with a kitchen, guest room and hobby workshop, where relationships can form and the community can grow.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Community in green surroundings<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>S\u00f8agerhusene is organised into three residential clusters, each with its own green courtyard. The private gardens open onto communal areas with fruit trees, shrubs and biodiverse planting, whilst wide balconies on the first floor offer views of the courtyards and life between the homes all year round.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have focused on creating well-thought-out and varied floor plans so that the homes appeal to a broad target group. Whether you are a family with children, a single person, a couple or a senior \u2013 and wish to participate actively or casually in the community \u2013 there is a home for you,\u201d says Thomas Hedegaard Gull\u00f8v, continuing:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe homes themselves offer plenty of natural light. Several of the homes have high ceilings and skylights. HTH kitchens and a full range of Miele appliances have been installed in all homes, so they are ready to move into. We look forward to the first residents moving in and to the community flourishing in these green surroundings.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><strong>A safe everyday life in Sm\u00f8rum<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>S\u00f8agerhusene is situated in a quiet and safe local community with green surroundings and everyday amenities within easy reach. Sm\u00f8rum Centret is within walking distance, and the area is known for its excellent nurseries and schools, which are easily accessible via footpaths. Thomas H\u00f8eg Mogensen, Customer and Relationship Director at EDC Projekt Poul Erik Bech, also reports significant interest in the homes:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cS\u00f8agerhusene appeals to a broad target group with its combination of different housing types, high quality and excellent communal facilities. It is a project where you get both your own private home and access to an environment that supports community and activity in everyday life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFurthermore, Sm\u00f8rum is an attractive area for families with children, couples and senior citizens alike, and with its central location on R\u00e5brovej, residents enjoy a safe and well-organised everyday life with nature, sport, schools and shopping all close by.
