Engel & Völkers Danmark joins forces with EDC Poul Erik Bech

Mikkel Søby, CEO of Engel & Völkers Danmark and chairman of the board of Ejendomstorvet, says:

Strengthening Capital Markets
Mikkel Søby and Christian Metellus are assigned partners in EDC Poul Erik Bech and part of EDC Poul Erik Bech’s Capital Markets department in Copenhagen. Mikkel Søby will furthermore be appointed Director of EDC Poul Erik Bech Copenhagen. Engel & Völkers Denmark has a total of 15 employees, primarily based in Copenhagen and Aarhus with operations nationwide and a presence in the Northern part of Jutland and -Zealand.

A strong network particularly in Germany allow us to work extensively with Capital Markets and international investors. We have built a particularly strong position with letting, not least in Aarhus,” says Managing Partner Christian Metellus, adding:

Having valuation and research in-house will be a great attribute for strengthening our advisory services. Further features such as a strong back office with marketing, PR, HR and support provides us with a better prospect of emphasizing brokerage and advisory of our clientele.”

Strengthening international profile
Poul Erik Bech says: “Naturally, we look forward to welcoming our new colleagues from Engel & Völkers Denmark. Our international outreach will be strengthened as well as our international department with strong competencies for our offices in Copenhagen and Aarhus including an additional commercial real estate broker in Vendsyssel/Skagen. Our company has already listed the most properties on Ejendomstorvet, and this position will now be enhanced. Engel & Völkers Denmark provides strong competencies in letting, an area which we have also worked to strengthen in recent years.”

Both parties will be represented at MIPIM this week, the world’s leading international real estate event held annually in Cannes, France. Including Mikkel Søby and Christian Metellus from Engel & Völkers Denmark, the 18 brokers from EDC Erhverv Poul Erik Bechwill be the largest real estate delegation at the event.
